Carlton W. Castner, 84, of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Lombard, died Friday in his home. Mr. Castner was a resident of Florida since 1978 and had lived in Lombard from 1963 to 1978. He was a former salesman for Villa Park Ford for 25 years and retired in 1978. Mr. Castner was also associated with several auto dealerships in Florida after his retirement. He was a life member of Villa Park Masonic Lodge 1113, which he joined 48 years ago. He was a Villa Park trustee from 1947 to 1949 and a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lombard. Survivors include his wife, Violet; three sons, Kenard, Ronald and William; three daughters, Darlene Bollig, Patricia Ratkovich and Celia Sanford; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Brust Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton Ave., Villa Park. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
