A 47-year-old Waukegan man told police Tuesday that his ex-girlfriend stole his $5,000 stereo system and sold it without his permission. The woman allegedly went to the man’s ex-wife’s house and said that she had his permission to collect the stereo in order to put it into storage, police reports said. After taking the stereo, she allegedly sold it and hasn’t been seen since, reports said.
