Eva L. Mavity, a resident of Des Plaines for 24 years, died Friday in her daughter’s home in Arlington Heights. Mrs. Mavity was a former employee of Allstate Insurance Co. in Skokie. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the Church of Christ in Des Plaines. Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne Hobbs and Sarah Grove; a brother; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
