Commissioners of the DuPage Water Commission have given general manager James J. Holzwart a 2 percent increase in base pay and a $3,500 merit award, raising his annual compensation to about $135,000.
Holzwart has been chief administrative officer of the Lake Michigan water agency for 12 years. Last year, he received a 2.7 percent increase in base pay and a performance award of $3,800.
