Prime Group Realty Trust has bought One IBM Plaza for $239 million. Chicago-based Prime Group, which has teamed up with J. Paul Beitler Development Co. to plan what would be the world’s tallest building in Chicago, bought the 1.4 million-square-foot office building from Blackstone Real Estate Advisors two years after Blackstone paid $120 million for the Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed tower on the north bank of the Chicago River.
