Curtis Enis: Expected to practice with the Bears by Tuesday and injure his hamstring by Wednesday.
AT LAST
Holdout running back Curtis Enis and the Bears finally got together on a three-year deal worth $5.6 million, including a signing bonus of $3.6 million.
Said agent Greg Feste, “We talked about it before, and he (Enis) said, `If we can’t get what we need to pay my market value, let’s do a short-term deal.’ “
Indeed, what exactly is the market value of a kid who lied about taking a payoff in college, selfishly compromised his team’s chances in a bowl game, got hurt in a minicamp and audaciously demanded that the Bears break the rules of the collective bargaining agreement before he’d ever played a down in the NFL?
THE NICE ITEM
Before Tuesday’s game against St. Louis, the Cubs will unveil a sleeve patch inscribed with “Hey Hey” as a way of honoring late, legendary broadcaster Jack Brickhouse.
The Cubs began the season wearing uniforms that included a sleeve patch paying tribute to late, legendary broadcaster Harry Caray.
Tell you what, we’re talking about the best arms in franchise history.
HIT THIS

Like that’s a good thing.
YOUNG GUNS

JOINT DECISION
The NBA and the players union are no closer to ending the lockout, but union chief Billy Hunter said they’re close to a drug agreement.
Presently, only heroin and cocaine are covered in testing, but marijuana will be added to the list of banned substances.
No word on what this will mean to Chris Webber and his new team, the Sacramento Bongs.
TARGET PRACTICE
