– A story Thursday in the Northwest Metro section inaccurately quoted Lynn Adams about her threat to give her child a spank for hitting another child. The quote should have read: “I felt so hypocritical.”
– In the Arts & Entertainment section Sunday, dancer Sarita Smith Childs was incorrectly identified. She is a former dancer with the Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theatre.
– An obituary in Sunday’s paper for Bernard Abraham stated that he conducted experiments on the liquid form of helium-3 at extremely low temperatures. The substance was incorrectly described as a “heavier grade” of helium. It is a lighter form. Also, a former colleague of Abraham’s was misidentified. He is Laurie M. Brown.
The Tribune regrets the errors.
