A Chicago man who was shot twice in the chest late Friday as he stood outside his home on the city’s Far South Side was listed in good condition, according to a nursing supervisor at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Robert Joyner, 18, a resident of the Chicago Housing Authority’s Trumball Park Homes, reportedly was standing in front of his home on South Oglesby Avenue near East 106th Street when he was approached by two men about his age, police said. After a quarrel, Calumet Area Detectives said, one of the men reportedly shot Joyner twice.

No arrests had been made, police said.
