Case-Russia deal: Case Corp., the world’s second-largest farm equipment manufacturer, said it agreed to form a partnership with Russia to develop that country’s agricultural sector. The partnership covers the supply and manufacture of farm equipment as well as supporting services. Case said it has more than 5,000 Case units in operation in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The pact with the Russian Ministry of Agriculture extends beyond equipment sales. Case could form joint ventures in Russia for the local manufacture of farm equipment.
