After being feted for four years with bridal showers, Patsy Tucker finally is getting hitched.

To celebrate the fourth anniversary of their long-running audience-participation comedy, “Patsy’s Bridal Shower,” members of Theatre Eclectic will stage a one-time sequel, “Patsy’s Wedding,” Friday at the White Eagle Golf Club, Illinois Highway 59 and 83rd Street, Naperville.

The interactive comedy and nuptial celebration will begin at 8 p.m. and include dinner and dancing.

Proceeds will benefit Theatre Eclectic, a not-for-profit professional arts troupe founded in 1994.

Tickets are $65, $35 of which is tax-deductible. Call 630-548-2912 for reservations.

“Patsy’s Bridal Shower” chronicles the culture clash between families when Aurora trailer park resident Patsy Tucker prepares to marry upper-crust Oak Brook socialite J.B. Berenson.

First staged by Theatre Eclectic members at a Naperville pizzeria, the play later was presented in performance space in a Lisle office building before Theatre Eclectic acquired its own storefront at 618 E. Ogden Ave. in Naperville.

Theatre Eclectic artistic director Richard Schultz of Woodridge, who co-wrote “Patsy’s Bridal Shower” with Glen Ellyn resident Nick Kurasz, said more than 6,000 people have seen the show.

Patsy is played by Stacey Slowik of Schaumburg, with Dan Marcinkowski of Lombard portraying J.B.
