A 55-year-old local man was arrested on charges of battery Sunday night after he allegedly choked a 20-year-old man in the parking lot at Dairy Queen, 20 E. Devon Ave., police said. Some young adults were allegedly blocking the driving path of Salvatore DeLaurentis of the 700 block of Crest Avenue, police said. The incident occurred after DeLaurentis confronted the individuals about moving out of the way, according to police. The 20-year-old was not injured, police said.
