Three men walking early Sunday on the 1800 block of North Hicks Road told police they were held up at gunpoint and robbed of two high school rings and $40 cash, police said. Police said they used dogs to look for suspects shortly after the incident was reported at 2:10 a.m., but were unable to make any arrests. The victims were Rolling Meadows men ages 19 and 20 and an 18-year-old Palatine man who had been walking home after getting off a Metra train, police said. The victims said they were approached by three suspects, one of whom pulled out a silver handgun and demanded cash and valuables. All three suspects fled with the two rings and $40, police said.
