The CTA is adding extra buses to provide service to Soldier Field for Saturday’s ceremonies honoring the late Walter Payton.
Shuttle buses will be added on the No. 146 Marine-Michigan route, starting southbound on State from Kinzie, at 10 a.m.
At 10:30 a.m., shuttles will be added on the No. 12 Roosevelt Road route.
After the ceremonies, additional No. 146 and No. 12 buses will be available north of Soldier Field for return trips to `L’ stations and downtown.
