Joseph F. Putz, 84, of Wheaton and formerly Glen Ellyn and Hemet, Calif., died Monday in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Born in Chicago, Mr. Putz served in the Army during World War II and was a U.S. Postal Service employee. He is survived by a brother, John. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 0 S 233 Church Rd., Winfield.
