Roy L. Cline, 30, of the 400 block of Singapore Lane, Carpentersville, was charged Friday with battery, theft and reckless conduct. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in the 10500 block of Illinois Highway 47, police said. Cline allegedly stole five pool table balls and struck another patron of the business with a thrown ball, police said. He is to appear in court on Feb. 3.
