A 53-year-old Aurora man was arrested recently after allegedly hitting a family member who reportedly tried to keep him from driving after he had been drinking in a house in the 4500 block of Chelsea Drive, police said. Richard G. Lape of the 1200 block of Comet Drive was charged with two counts of domestic battery, police said.
