Frank J. Thomas, 73, died Thursday, June 1, in his Barrington home. Mr. Thomas graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, Chicago. For 30 years, Mr. Thomas worked in sales at the Barco division of Aeroquip Corp., a railroad products company in Barrington. A resident of Barrington for more than 50 years, Mr. Thomas coached Little League Baseball in Barrington during the 1970s. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joan; two sons, Bill and Jeffrey; a daughter, Carole Simonson; a brother, Joseph; three sisters, Marie Wernick, Gertrude Jensen and Joan Schwarz; and 10 grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington.
