Norman C. Kusnierz, 72, of Wheaton, formerly of Dixon and Downers Grove, died Wednesday, March 7, in Parkway Healthcare Center in Wheaton. Born in Oak Park, Mr. Kusnierz was a graduate of Morton High School in Cicero, where he was captain of the varsity football team. He was an iron worker in Local 63 as well as a business owner. “Football and golf were what he enjoyed most outside of his family,” said his wife, Irene. Mr. Kusnierz was a member of the Lost Nation Golf Club in Dixon. Other survivors include sons William and David; daughters Barbara Brent, Pamela Carlson, and Cynthia Becvarik; sisters Dorothy Reimann and Rita Herkel; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, followed by services at 4 p.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, Main and Seminary Streets, Wheaton.
