A youth hockey coach accused of shoving a boy during a game turned himself in to police last week, police said Tuesday. Keith Pfister, 29, of the 400 block of North Edgewood Avenue, Lombard, was charged Thursday night with battery and assault, police said. During a Rolling Meadows Chargers hockey game against the Downers Grove Huskies June 2 in Rolling Meadows, Chargers coach Pfister allegedly shoved a 16-year-old Glen Ellyn boy who played for the Huskies, police said. When the boy’s father confronted him, Pfister lunged at the father and was restrained, according to reports. Pfister has a July 13 court date, police said.
