Sailor, 82, of Elmhurst, beloved husband of Pauline; fond father of Virginia (Alan) Kurtz, Robert (Donna), Elizabeth (Rodney) Holmes and David (Carol); grandfather of 10; brother of Cleda Williams; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a civil engineer. Visitation at the Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27. Interment private.
