James Cline, 41, of the 1300 block of Portage Avenue, Palatine, was charged with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property after he broke a taillight on a former girlfriend’s car in the 1300 block of Bristol Lane, police said. Cline posted $1,000 bail and was ordered to appear in court May 17, according to reports.
