A fundraising program called Riverwalk Realtors has attracted 25 participants, and the numbers are growing, said Karen Solomon, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker in Naperville and a program organizer. “It’s offered them a visible way to give back to the community,” said Solomon.
The goal is to use the $300 contribution from each participant toward buying a permanent feature for Fredenhagen Park, the new area of the Riverwalk under development along Washington Street. Donors will be identified in some way in the park, Solomon added.
The real estate professionals who participate will also be pictured in marketing materials and ads about the program “in recognition for their support,” added Solomon.
Production of those materials will soon be under way. She said that organizers would like to encourage every real estate office in Naperville to be represented in the program. For more information, call Solomon at 630-428-5515.
