“Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers” Monday, Nov. 4 (ABC, 9 p.m. ET): Miami passed one test already this season, winning at Denver in a classic game. Tonight presents another challenge for one of the AFC’s top teams when Ricky Williams and the Dolphins venture into Lambeau Field. They’ll face a well-rested home team, since Brett Favre and his mates are coming off their bye week, although that same circumstance didn’t help them two years ago when these teams last met. The Pack lost in South Florida, 28-20.
“Los Angeles Lakers at Washington Wizards” Friday, Nov. 8 (ESPN, 8 p.m. ET): Michael Jordan’s desire to pare down his minutes this season faces a stiff test tonight against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. Jordan’s competitive fire won’t allow him to sit and watch Bryant fly around the MCI Center court by himself, so expect MJ to battle Kobe tooth and nail. Giving Jordan a boost is Jerry Stackhouse, who can light it up with the best of them. Bryant, though, may be without Shaquille O’Neal, who had off-season foot surgery.
