A headless and decomposed body was found in a Logan Square garage by construction workers Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Workers discovered the body at about 1:10 p.m. as they started work on a garage at 3544 W. Medill Ave., police spokeswoman JoAnn Taylor said.
An autopsy performed Thursday was inconclusive and further study will be required, said a spokesperson from the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
A police investigation will await final autopsy results, Taylor said.
