Want to join the carnival? A half-dozen aspiring fire eaters, knife throwers and snake charmers signed up for the fall session of six four-hour classes that began Monday at the Coney Island Sideshow School in New York. The curriculum for the twice-annual course includes “fundamentals of sword swallowing,” “broken glass walking” and “hand in animal trap.” Tuition is $600.
