Joan Mary Flores, 71, of Las Vegas, died Aug. 21, 2003. She was born Sept. 9, 1931 in Chicago. Joan organized a screenwriters group in Naperville, IL. She also worked for IBM for 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Isadore Russell; her sons, Russell Charles (Judy) Flores of Glen Ellyn, IL and Rex (Cherise) Flores of Anaheim, CA; her grandchildren, Tracie (Larry) Woods, Shari (Ryan) Kempf, Nichol (Joseph) Simek, Alexandria, Stephanie and Cherise Flores; one great-granddaughter, Grace Woods; sister, Dorothee (Warren) Long; and brother, Walter (Patricia) Seipp. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL 630-469-2361.
