Betty J. Heffernan, nee Rullman, 81, passed away December 4, 2003, beloved wife of the late Joseph “Bud” Heffernan and also the late William H. Jacob; loving mother of Patricia (Jay) Bach, Elizabeth (Douglas) Mikel and the late Jan Heffernan; cherished grandmother of Tracy (Kurt) Vogel, William (Catherine) Bach, Amy E. and Christine P. Mikel, Gabriel and Stephanie Mathless; great-grandmother of Caroline and Charles Vogel; dear sister of Lois E. Helt. Memorial Service Saturday, December 6, 1 p.m. at Northfield Community Church, 400 Wagner Rd., Northfield, 847-446-3070.
