Nicholas “Nick” Wybolt, 47, of Naperville, formerly of New Jersey and Massachusetts, a business consultant who was previously employed with Anderson Consulting and McDonald’s Corp, died Sunday, Nov. 30, in Edward Hospital in Naperville, of lymphoma. Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Wybolt grew up in Hillside, N.J., where he was a graduate of Hillside High School in 1974. He received a bachelor’s degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark and later a master’s degree in computer science from Boston University. After moving with his family to Naperville in 1991, he was employed as an associate partner at Andersen Consulting in Chicago. He then went on to become the chief technology officer at McDonald’s Corp. in Oak Brook. Mr. Wybolt was most recently employed as a principal consultant with TAM Group, a computer information company based in Estes Park, Colo. “When we first moved to Naperville, we thought it would be temporary and that we’d someday be back living close to mountains or near the ocean,” said Susan, his wife of 22 years. “But we came to realize that we’d discovered a great community and that the Midwest is actually a very nice place to raise children.” Other survivors include a son, Andrew; a daughter, Amanda; his parents, Stanley and Anna; and a sister, Nancy Wybolt Hartman. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Rd., Naperville.
