Susan Fredman & Associates Ltd., one of the area’s largest and most respected interior design firms, is opening two new offices, both in response to client demand and the demand of new designers who want to work with this company, noted for nurturing design talent.
The founder and CEO of SF&A, Susan Fredman has opened a second design studio at 1871 N. Clybourn Ave., in Chicago’s growing Clybourn corridor. The team leader at Clybourn, says Fredman, will be Barb Theile.
Fredman will be opening a third office in March at 15988 Red Arrow Hwy., in Union Pier, Mich. Barb Ince will be the team leader at the Harbor Country office. “In Union Pier, we will have a full kitchen and bath design studio, showing product,” says Fredman.
The 28-year-old company’s flagship office, which specializes in residential and commercial interior design locally and nationally, remains at 425 Huehl Rd., Northbrook, with a staff of 25, including more than a dozen top designers from the American Society of Interior Design.
“We are tremendously excited about these new ventures and the opportunities that are available due to the expansion,” says Fredman, who is known for incorporating nature and handmade artisanry into her interior design.
“We will continue to provide the same attentive service that we always have and are very fortunate to have a team of talented designers to serve an even broader client base.”
Fredman is also the founder and president of Supporting the Spirit Foundation, a non-profit design resource for the non-profit community and social services.
