Rev. C. David Owens, 56, Senior Pastor of the First Congregational Church, U.C.C., in Wilmette. Survived by his mother, Barbara Gooch Owens; former spouse, Beverly Barwegen Owens; his children, Charles Blake Owens and Hilary Owens (Nick) Limber; his sister Ann Schroeder; his brother Doyle (Jackie) Owens; two grandchildren and countless friends and colleagues. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2004, at the First Congregational Church of Wilmette, 1125 Wilmette Ave., Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment will be private.
