The show: Average Joe: Hawaii
9 p.m. Monday, NBC
Last episode recap: Even after Brian professes his love for her in Fenway Park, Larissa chooses Gil to fly with her to paradise.
In the lamest reality show twist ever, she tells Gil that she used to date Fabio, and he ditches her in Mexico.
Fast-forward: Millionaire Adam Mesh, the runner-up last season, returns March 15 to find true love on “Average Joe: Adam Returns.”
Get real: The morning after the finale, Gil and Larissa went on the “Today” show and said they’re still dating. So what’s with the warped version of the show’s ending?
The show: American Idol
7 p.m. Tuesday, Fox
Last episode recap: The final group of eight singers perform. Simon’s predictions are correct, with 16-year-old John Stevens and adorable Hawaii-native Jasmine Trias (without her braces!) making it to the finals.
Fast-forward: Twelve previously booted contestants come back for the wild-card episode.
Get real: Don’t dismiss the wild-card singers quite yet. Last season’s runner-up, Clay Aiken, was a second-chance performer.
The show: America’s Next Top Model
8 p.m. Tuesday, UPN
Last episode recap: The five remaining girls head to Milan for a photo shoot. Yoanna gets upset when she’s told to improve her size-2 body. Camille hints to Tyra that Yoanna has an eating disorder. Camille gets kicked off for acting like a diva.
Fast-forward: A recap of the first eight episodes, with some never-before-seen footage.
Get real: I’m still looking for evidence that any of these girls eat. The tables have been pretty bare in all the restaurant scenes.
The show: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
9 p.m. Tuesday, Bravo
Last episode recap: The Fab 5 help an immature theater composer present a staged reading of his musical to a bunch of Broadway bigwigs. His presentation is a success even though he didn’t shower before getting ready.
Fast-forward: The guys show an Olympic figure skater (left) how to plan a romantic evening for his wife.
Get real: You’ve gotta love the apartment makeovers. It’s like “Trading Spaces” with an always-happy ending.
The show: Survivor All-Stars
7 p.m. Thursday, NBC
Last episode recap: Sue keeps thinking about Richard rubbing his naked body into hers during the last team challenge. She screams at host Jeff Probst and says she was sexually violated. Sue chooses to leave the show, so no one gets kicked off.
Fast-forward: The teams are shocked by another big twist. Kathy expresses her hate for another player.
Get real: The show’s two biggest twists–Jenna and Sue choosing to leave–weren’t planned by producers. It shows there’s still some “real” in “reality” television.
The show: The Apprentice
8 p.m. Thursday, NBC
Last episode recap: The teams each select an artist, then try to raise the most money by selling the artist’s paintings. Versacorp picks a more mainstream artist and wins easily. Omarosa gets fired.
Fast-forward: The teams compete in the transportation business. Carolyn tells one player that she hasn’t seen him/her do any work.
Get real: Lesson No. 1 from Trump Business School: Personality matters more than money. Even if she’d sold $1 million in art, we all knew Omarosa was getting fired.
