Kick back for just one day. “A Celebration of Women 2004” is this Saturday at the College of DuPage.
This year’s tribute to Women’s History Month begins with the keynote address “Like Fingernails on a Chalkboard: Dealing with Difficult People” by trainer Lori Klinka. Following the address are five breakout sessions on topics ranging from the gift of personal renewal to women’s fiction. Singer/songwriter Kristin Lems wraps up the day with a musical tribute to women.
The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration and coffee and continues through 3 p.m. College of DuPage is at Fawell Boulevard and Lambert Road in Glen Ellyn. Tickets are $20. Call 630-942-2377 and press 4 to register. (Registration is required.)
