Police are investigating the death of a 49-year-old man found Wednesday in his Waukegan apartment.
The man’s landlord found his body about 7:30 a.m. in the 900 block of South Victory Street. Police declined to release the name of the man until relatives were notified.
The Lake County Major Crime Task Force is investigating, but the death has not been ruled a homicide, authorities said.
Deputy Chief Joseph Rajcevich of the Waukegan Police Department said there were no obvious signs of trauma.
