An Aurora man was released from a hospital Tuesday, arrested and held on a charge of first-degree murder in the shooting death of another Aurora man early Thursday on a rural road in Bolingbrook, police said.

Police say Miguel Gutierrez, 22, of the 300 block of West Illinois Street had been shot in the leg and the torso in the shooting death of Otoneil Roldan.

Bolingbrook police say Gutierrez, Roldan and two other men were traveling in a maroon 1993 Nissan two-door car when they stopped at the side of a road during a dispute. Police say more than one gun and shooting were involved.

Roldan died of his wounds that day. Gutierrez was treated in Edward Hospital and is being held in Will County Adult Detention Facility, police said.
