WTTW-Ch. 11 will launch a new program called “Chicago Sunday” on May 8. The half-hour show, which will air at 12:30 p.m. each Sunday, will be an extension of the channel’s weekday news and public-affairs program “Chicago Tonight.”
The program will feature fresh content and highlights from the previous week’s “Chicago Tonight” episodes.
“This is a great opportunity for us to extend `Chicago Tonight’ into the weekend and reach more viewers with our uniquely Chicago take on the world,” “Chicago Tonight” host Phil Ponce said in a statement.
