John and Linda Padgham of Chicago have announced the engagement of their daughter Mary to Christopher Wurster, son of Hal and Linda Wurster of Matteson.
The future bride received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in school counseling from Loyola University Chicago, and is pursuing a specialist degree in school psychology from Illinois State University.
The future groom received a bachelor’s degree in international, resource and consumer economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a financial associate at Smith Barney.
The couple have planned an Oct. 22 wedding at St. John Fisher Church in Chicago. They will reside in Homewood.
