Hoping to strike while “Battlestar Galactica” is still hot, Sci Fi Channel will start the show’s second season in what must be record time.
Ten new episodes launch in mid-July just two months after its first season ended. Another 10 episodes are being shot for this winter.
Sci Fi’s other Friday shows, “Stargate Atlantis” and a revamped “Stargate SG-1,” also return in July. Fans of Sci Fi’s canceled cult hit “Farscape” will be happy to see the new faces of “SG-1.” “Farscape” veterans Ben Browder and Claudia Black will join the show, as will Beau Bridges and Louis Gossett Jr.
“Atlantis” will welcome former “X-Files” star Mitch Pileggi and “North Shore” hunk Jason Momoa.
