At Stevenson
Glenbrook South won team title behind freshman Steve Deutsch’s wins in parallel bars (9.45) and pommel horse (9.45) and Eric Campbell’s win in floor exercise (9.55). Highland Park’s Larry Milstein won still rings (9.30) en route to all-around title (55.35). Stevenson’s Robert Solomon won horizontal bar (9.30) and vault (9.60).

Trojans (18-8, 8-3) snapped C.L. Central’s 14-game win streak when John Waylock scored on dropped fly ball in bottom of 7th. Brett Nommensen went 4-for-5 and Chris Jacquier 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs. Mike Meyer hit 3-run HR for Tigers (21-2, 10-1).
