Tuesday was one of those days for Northwestern and Randy Walker. The Wildcats got an earful from the head coach.
“It seems like we have bad practices on Tuesday,” Walker said after lecturing the team.
Walker is concerned about aggressiveness and is juggling defensive assignments in search of a pass rush Saturday night at Arizona State.
Defensive lineman Kevin Mims and linebackers Demetrius Eaton and Eddie Simpson are going to get a chance to rush the passer. . . .
Northwestern wide receiver Kim Thompson (finger) and defensive end Corey Wootton (neck) are questionable. Safety Herschel Henderson (hamstring) didn’t play against Northern Illinois but is probable this week. . . .
