Grace Eleanor Green, died Sept. 12, 2005, at The Bloomingdale Pavilion in Bloomingdale, IL. We was the devoted daughter of the late Clark and Maude Jacobs. She was born Nov. 7, 1913 on a farm in Adrian, IL. She was the loving mother of Janice Malecki and the late Donald Green; also the fun mother-in-law of Robert Malecki; she was a loving grandmother of Kristen Malecki and a good friend of Wanda Malecki and the late Walter Malecki and their family and Marge Barnes. She lived in Chicago the major part of her life, she worked at Montgomery Ward in Chicago for 28 years and retired in Nov. 1978. She lasted worked the Regional Lease Account Dept. at Montgomery Ward State Street Store. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave. Graveside services at Meyers Cemetery in Pontoosuc, IL. Presided over by Rev. Beckie Laurmier of the Methodist Church in Colusa, IL, on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions will be appreciated to NHF’s Hurricane Katrina Relief Program at the National Hemophilia Foundaiton, Hurricane Relief Program, 116 W. 32nd Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY, 10001. 773-774-4100.
