Jean Huntley Edwards Moore, of Chicago, Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30 in Forsyth, MO, she would have been 82 on Sept. 10, daughter/stepdaughter of the late Jill and Don Gardner of Branson, MO and Davis Edwards of Chicago; survived by her five daughters, Mo (Andy) Vear, Laura Lee (Paul) Alberts, Mara Hawks, Paula Moore and Beverly Lee; three sons, Dan (Sue) Moore, Garry Moore and Vern (Ruth) Moore Jr.; 17 grandchildren, Rebecca, Tristan and Hilary, Kelly, Karla, Kasey and Kirsten, Danny and Mark, Carly and John Henry, Christopher and Joseph, Alicia, Angelina, Isabella and Marcus; a great-grandson, Diego; her most beloved brother and sister, Clark Edwards of Alexandria, VA and Lyn Asselin of Branson, MO. She was preceded in death by her littlest angel, Mark Oliver Moore. Originally from Chicago, where she grew up and later raised a family, she had made Branson her home since 1983. Jean will be remembered as a bright light of hope and harmony, and whose love will remain in the many hearts of her family and friends. The family will have a Memorial Service on Saturday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel at College of the Ozarks. Burial will follow at Ozarks Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the direction of Whelchel Funeral Chapel, Branson, MO.
