A motorist who was injured in a Nov. 23 Metra accident in Elmwood Park has filed a lawsuit against the commuter rail service. The lawsuit filed Friday by Christine Barnes, 30, of Elmwood Park alleges that Metra should have installed gates that were linked to traffic signals at the crossing or reduced the speed limit near the intersection.
