Jeneva C. Wooten, nee Denton, 79, at rest Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Born January 15th, the second of four children, to Howard and Laura Denton. She was the beloved wife of the late James, retired Chicago Police Department; devoted mother of James (Gertrude) and Deborah; cherished grandmother of Michelle and James III; adored sister of Martha Jean, Howard (Denise), and Betty Rose. She will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services will be held at Beth Eden Baptist Church, 11121 S. Loomis in Chicago. Visitation will begin Thursday at 6 p.m. immediately followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m. Interment (departing from Beth Eden Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m.) will be Friday, December 30, 2005 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 11500 South Fairfield in Chicago.
