At Loyola Eileen Weissmann scored 8 of her 13 in 14-2 run to start game as Loyola (28-3) cruised. Teammate Brittany McCoy led way with 17 pts.
Bolingbrook 45 Neuqua Valley 43
At Naperville C. Brittney Thomas’ put-back with :01 remaining lifted Bolingbrook (26-2). Samantha Woods had 15 pts, 7 rebs to go along with Thomas’ 14 pts. “When she [Kiara Marshall] shot it up I saw the time because I knew if I was able to get the board I had to put it up right away,” Thomas said. Amanda Mirochna scored 16 for Neuqua (22-9).
Warren 45 Libertyville 39
At Warren Sarah Boothe, hampered by fouls, exploded for 7 of her 11 pts in 4th to lift Warren (27-4). Boothe’s layup with 3:49 left put Warren up 33-31 for lead it never lost. Giulianna Lopez led Warren with 14 pts. Carol Kruckman had 11 for Libertyville (20-10).
Buffalo Grove 46 Stevenson 35
At Palatine Ellen Ayoub scored 14 and Buffalo Grove (28-5) held Stevenson to 8 pts in 3rd. Stevenson (21-12) was led by Sarah Geissler’s 14 pts.
Marist 56 Chi. Christian 35
Sandburg 61 Thornwood 48
At Sandburg Abby Nelson scored 15 off bench to lead Marist (26-7). Tiffany Deckinga had 10 for Chicago Christian (19-9). Also, Christine Walczak (16 pts, 17 rebs), Jacqie Storm and (15 pts, 5 rebs) and Madeline Kish (10 pts) propelled Sandburg (22-11). “Rebounding is one of my greatest contributions to the team,” Walczak said. Brittani Nichols scored 16 for Thornwood (22-6).

At St. Benedict St. Benedict (4-22) led 37-27 at half before pulling away. Mark Kaszuba scored 26, Peter McCollam 14.
Dyett 54 St. Fra. de Sales 51
DuSable 61 Hirsch 56
At St. Fran. de Sales Dyett improved to 15-11 behind Diondray Wilson’s 27 pts. In 2nd game, Sheldon Thrasher’s 27 pts help lift DuSable (16-7). DuSable iced it with 4-for-5 free-throw shooting down stretch. Greg Simms added 11.
