Mike Hohensee had a terse reply when asked if there was anything positive to take out of Sunday’s 59-42 Arena Football League loss to Dallas.

“No,” the Rush coach said.

The Rush had their three-game winning streak snapped, lost two starters to injuries and had to contend with a Dallas defense that forced turnovers and pressured quarterback Matt D’Orazio.

The Rush (3-3) was just 2 of 6 on third-down conversions and settled for field goals in the first half after a pair of Dallas stops.

In the second half, the Desperados (5-1) turned two Rush turnovers into touchdowns.

Veteran defensive end/lineman John Moyer suffered a sprained left knee, and lineman D.B. Bleisath went down with a right ankle injury and could be out up to six weeks.
