I would be very happy for Alexa DeTogne to be able to choose whether to wear a seat belt as long as I can choose whether to pay for her medical or life insurance when she is without her seat belt and has an accident. According to Clarendon Hills Fire Chief Brian Leahy, if one wears a seat belt and has an accident, the paramedics almost never have to transport you to the hospital. Conversely if one does not wear a seat belt and has an accident, the paramedics almost always have to transport you to the hospital.
