History Museum to raise suggested fee

The Chicago History Museum is keeping a suggested, instead of mandatory, admission fee, but it won approval Wednesday to raise it $5. The Park District will allow the museum, formerly known as the Chicago Historical Society, to suggest adult visitors pay $12 and seniors and students $10. The History Museumand the Museum of Contemporary Art are the only two on district land without a fixed fee.
