Roger L. Gallaugher, 81, of Northbrook for 50 years, died peacefully in his home. Beloved husband of the late Cora, nee Miller; loving father of Sue (Tom) Chestnut, Carol (Jerry) Streich, Gail (Ned) Zerwic, Keith (Vada), Mark (Anita) and Guy (Stacey) Gallaugher; proud grandfather of 17; great-grandfather of six. Roger enjoyed golf, reading, putting together puzzles, tinkering in his workshop and feeding the wild life in his yard. He enjoyed a life full of family, love, memories and carpentry. He was a WWII veteran and 55 year member of Carpenters Union #181. Prayers 9:15 a.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 blocks south of Dundee Rd.), Wheeling for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of the Brook, 3700 Dundee Rd., Northbrook. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
