Jerome J. “Jerry” Bandyk, 67, of Canfield, OH, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. He was born on Dec. 10, 1938 in Chicago, IL, son of Andrew and Anna, nee Hunyak, Bandyk. He was employed at Central Steel and Wire in Chicago for 40 years as a maintenance foreman. He was a member of Cyris Catholic Church in Chicago, IL, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Chicago, IL. He survived by his daughter, Jacqueline (Steve) Carson of Canfield, OH; two sons, Michael (Kelly) Bandyk of Burbank, IL and Steven (Donna) Bandyk of Oak Lawn, IL; two brothers; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25 at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home with the Fr. Thomas Eisweirth of St. Pauls Catholic Church of Salem, officiating. 330-332-4401 .
