Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Regarding the reports from St. Louis, published yesterday, announcing the Chicago Nationals would decline to enter into any agreement to split up the receipts of the world’s championship series on an even basis, Manger Jones of the White Sox said:
“Why don’t they wait till they’re asked? They never will have the chance to refuse it if we win the right to play them. I would not want to be the player to make such an agreement and play on this team another year. I don’t know how Griff’s men feel about it, but I am confident it is the same, and that they have not suggested such a thing. I am sure none of my men has.”
